Career Transitions
Live – 8 July 2026
A one‑day gathering in London for women navigating change in their working lives.
A full, energising day for mid‑career and midlife women (and those who identify as women) who know something in their working life needs to shift – and want space, support and inspiration to figure out what’s next.
Career Transitions Live is a new, in‑person day created and hosted by me, Ciara Eastell, in my usual friendly and warm style. It brings together practical input, honest conversation and time to think – away from the day‑to‑day demands of work and life.
Discover how your personal style can reflect who you are today – not who you were in a previous role or chapter. Chantelle, an award‑winning personal stylist, will share practical ways to:
- Use your clothes to express your evolving identity.
- Dress in a way that feels confident and congruent, rather than like you’re “putting on an act”.
- Show up with more ease and impact in both work and everyday life.

Confirmed sessions include
Who the day is for?
This day is for you if you are a midlife woman who:
- senses that a shift is coming and want time and support to think it through.
- is navigating change in your working life – whether that’s caused by redundancy, a move into self-employment or a wider shift in direction after a long time in one role or sector.
- feels that “something needs to change” but isn’t sure yet what that might look like and is actively looking for new ideas and inspiration.
- has completed my Career Transitions programme and want to reconnect and go deeper.
- is curious about the Career Transitions programme and is keen to “dip a toe in” before committing.
It’s designed both for women who’ve already begun their career transition and want fresh inspiration, and for those who have a niggling sense that they need to move, but don’t quite know where to start.

When your role changes, it can be hard to know how to talk about yourself without hiding behind a job title. In this interactive session, Beverley – a writer and coach – will help you:
- Reflect on the thread that runs through your career and life so far.
- Find words that capture your skills, values and direction.
- Articulate “who you are now” and “what’s next” in a way that feels authentic, not like slick self‑promotion.

Money worries can be one of the biggest barriers to making a change. Lorraine, a financial coach, will support you to:
- Get clearer on your current financial picture and priorities.
- Understand what to consider if you’re facing redundancy or changing role.
- Explore how to plan financially for self‑employment or a portfolio career.
- Alongside these sessions, I’ll be weaving in moments for individual reflection, small‑group conversation and whole‑group discussion, so you can make sense of what you’re hearing in the context of your own life.
We’ll be gathering at St Ethelburga’s Centre for Peace and Reconciliation, a beautiful and contemplative space just a short walk from Liverpool Street station. It’s a 14th‑century church that has been restored as a centre for peace‑building and reflection.

Practical details
By the end of the day, you can expect to leave with:
- Fresh ideas and perspectives on what your “next chapter” might look like.
- More confidence in how you present yourself – in person, in writing and through your personal style.
- Greater clarity about your financial options and what you need in place to move forward.
- A renewed sense of connection, encouragement and possibility, from being in a room with other women, who feel in a similar place to you.
My aim is that you’ll go away feeling clearer, braver, and better resourced to take your next step – whatever that looks like for you.
